He is survived by: his brother John Whitford (Billy) of Bristol; his nieces, Judy (Marty Davis) of Bristol, Lisa (Scott Howard-Lyday) and Carol DeHut of Hot Springs; his nephew John (Kim Whitford) of Bristol; and his close friend Tommy Witherspoon of Bristol. He is also survived by family members and friends.
