He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodrigo Zamarripa Arteaga, Sr. and Julia Ramos Arteaga; and his siblings, Michael Arteaga, Rodrigo Arteaga Jr. and Rosa Arteaga.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Arteaga (Lisa), Veronica Beasley (Larry) and Valerie Arteaga; his grandchildren, Aivan Arteaga, Kaspin Arteaga, Alicia Beasley, Larry Beasley IV and Jaidence Beasley; and his siblings, Cruz Arteaga (Ubelia), Lino Arteaga, Amos Arteaga, Robert Arteaga (Karen), Camerino Arteaga (Darlene), Ana Marie Arteaga Garza, Andrea De Gallegos (Bulmaro), Guadalupe Arteaga, Margarita Reyes (Mike), Perfecta Arteaga and Elvira Arteaga Niedert (Bruce). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
