She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lawson and Eva Shinpaugh Lawson; her daughter Valerie Kay Mauldin; and her siblings, Lynn Lawson and Larry Low.
She is survived by: her son Matt Mauldin (Jennifer) of Ennis; her grandchildren, Tanner Mauldin of Ennis and Hiley Mauldin of Italy; her great grandchild Scarlett Najera; her cousin Tonie Allard (Dan) of Farmersville; her sister-in-law Diane Lawson of Arlington; and her siblings, Jackie Hill, Sharolyn Cooper, Gary Low (Carol) and Rodney Lawson.
