We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 96, Edith V. Baker (Ennis, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Edith's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edith has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thea Deverne Huffman and Laura May Huffman (Valentine); and her spouse Thomas Jefferson Baker. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Jefferson Baker, Larry Gene Baker, Judy K. Baker, Gary Lynn Baker and Patricia B. Hilburn. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home (800 S Kaufman St, Ennis, TX 75119). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at the Able Springs Cemetery.
