It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Charles Chatmon Jr. of Ennis, Texas, born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Rice and Bob Charles Chatmon Sr.; and his brothers, Ethaniel, Daniel and Nathaniel Postell.

He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Lee Chatmon and Lamont Chatmon; his wife Ruthie Chatmon; his children, Patricia Whitfield of Dallas Texas, Bob Charles Chatmon of Waxahachie Texas, Timothy Chatmon of Ft. Worth Texas and Katrina Chatmon of Dallas Texas; his goddaughter Barbara Ann Howard of Blytheville Arkansas; his children-in-law, Patrick Whitfield, Paul Ray and Sireka Chatmon; his nephew Tony Postell; his niece Theresa Davis; his grandchildren, Angela Briana Whitfield-Ray of Ennis Texas, Amaiya Jasmine Chatmon of Dallas Texas and Dameyan Palmore of Blytheville Arkansas; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Nevaeh and Orion.

During the season of covid Bob and his wife continued to study the bible and share the love of God with family.
