He is survived by: his wife Betty Sargent of Emory; his children, Sherrie Adams (Reggie) of Emory and Mike Sargent (Patty) of Ringgold, Georgia; and his sisters, Bobbye Martin of Borger and Roberta Serarle of Marrietta, Georgia.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
