She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Yates and Ethel Patterson Yates; her husband David Wallace; her siblings, Doug Yates, Gary Yates, Mary Yates and Peggy Wilson; her daughter Rosalind Walker; and her grandson Ronald Marshall Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Cowart of Emory, TX, Eugene "Skip" Arnold (Theresa Arnold) of Emory, TX, Dallas Theurer (Jason Theurer) of Point, TX, Jennifer Wallace of Emory, TX and John Wallace of Emory, TX; and her stepchildren, Christy Owen of McKinney, TX, Chris Wallace of Howe, TX, Denise Lamothe (Steve Lamothe) of Tomball, TX, Darlene Kitchens of Dallas, TX, Charlene Blanchard (Augusto Blanchard) of Parkland, FL and Sharon Wallace of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and many Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson - Orwosky Funeral Home (803 N Texas St, Emory, TX 75440). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lone Star Cemetery (783 4525, Point, TX 75472).
Myrtle Wallace will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her meaningful contributions to her community, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
