It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Granny Gail Johnson (Emory, Texas), born in Whitewright, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beauford "Boots" Adair and Novell Marie Senter; her husband William "Sonny" Lin Johnson; her son Tony Johnson; and her siblings, Ronnie Adair, Jackie Adair and Phyllis Rains.
She is survived by: her children, William Johnson, Kelley Courtney, Traci Rowland (Dereck) and Todd Johnson (Jennifer); her grandchildren, William Cole Johnson, Gina Marie Childress, Kandace Marie Rodgers (Mario Campos), Karmen Franklin (Eric), Kimberely Nicole Blue (Keith), Anthony Michael Black (Kristen), Chelsea Dawn Wilson, Addison Currey, Ashten Johnson and Sydnee Johnson; and her siblings, Edward Adair (Carol), Randy Adair (Lisa) and Carol Adair Wise. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
