Poe; his grandparents, Dr. William Samuel Poe, Bertie Evelyn Holbrook Poe, George Mack Harris and Catherine Murry Harris; his mother Mary Elizabeth Harris Vaught; his son Duane Samuel Poe; and his stepchildren, Carolyn Gayle Howard (Rebecca Kay Pruett) and Michael Gene Howard.
He is survived by: his grandson Duane Samuel; his spouse Valorias Faye Howard (Val); his daughters, Rebecca Kay, Gay Lynn Banos (Robert Edwards) and Penny Elizabeth Hill (Michael); his stepchildren, Brenda Sue Case, Vera Juanita Shipp (Doug) and Kenneth Earl Howard (Deana Meredith); and his sister Gay Poe Hart. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
