With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Ray Smith (Emory, Texas), who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sherri Smith; his parents, Robert Edward Smith and Nova Jean Phelps Smith; and his sister Kathy Casey. He is survived by: his children, Kathie Purcell (Glynn), Amy Bell, Montana Smith (Brittany), Heather Werner (R. L.), Cheyenne Smith, McKynzie Smith, Levi Smith, Tifini Anderson and Janae Smith; his grandchildren, Austin Browning, Julia Purcell and Ridge Browning; his great grandchildren, Colton Smith and Avery Smith; and his sisters, Brenda Dudley and Deborah Ramsey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson - Orwosky Funeral Home (803 N Texas St, Emory, TX 75440). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
