He was predeceased by: his parents, C. E. McKinney and Mary Jo; and his son Eric McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McKinney; his children, Coleen Smith (Rodney), Laurie McKinney, Sabra Norton (Danny), Cammi Derr (Roger), Scott McKinney (Darla) and Tray McKinney; and his grandchildren, Charlie Wallace, Dillon Smith (Kylie), Kaden McKinney (Katy), Cayce Johnson (Cody), Trinton McKinney, Holley Hedges, JB Hedges, Kris Hawkins, Sidney Nyberg and Lindsay Nyberg. He is also survived by his family and friends.
