Wendy Akins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Akins of Elysian Fields, Texas, born in Carthage, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Francis Oney Akins; and her brother Joseph Akins. She is survived by: her father Joe Akins of Henderson; her sons, Drake Anthony Dodson, Devin Ira Dodson and Mark Allen Dodson, Jr.; her sister Amanda Sue Akins of Waskom; her grandmother Sally Oney of Harleton; her mother-in-law Linda Fleetwood of DeBerry; and her nephews, Asa and Jaxtin McMillan. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
