He is survived by: his mother Angelita Rodriguez, Sr.; his wife Roxanne Rodriguez; his children, Rene Rodriguez Jr. (Cassandra), Jacob Rene Rodriguez (Josette), Amberly Renee Rodriguez (Mario), Audrey Renee Rodriguez, Joanna Jeanette Castro and Jasey Jade Castro; his grandchildren, Avery Rae Ramirez and Cristian Jay Rosales; and his siblings, Elodia Arias (Efrain), Norma Rodriguez-Garcia (Ernie), Esmer Rodriguez (Rene), Hilda Rodriguez, Irene Rodriguez, Consuelo "Connie" Rodriguez and Ivan Rodriguez (Maria).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Chapel (1401 E Santa Rosa Ave, Edcouch, TX 78538). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1100 Broadway St, Elsa, TX 78543). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 N Farm, To Market).
