He was predeceased by: his parents, William Payton Morris and Mellie Vern Green; and his stepfather Herbert L. "Sonny" Reed. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Holly (Vernon), Greg (Margaret), Glenn (Lea) and Heather (David); his grandchildren, Natalie, Eleanor (Garrett), Nicholas, Shawn, Christian, Tiffany, William, Michael, Ethan and Isabelle; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Riley, Lydia and Cody.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Island Methodist Church (3030 De Vilbiss Ln, San Antonio, TX 78264).
