He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Kelinske and Angela Kelinske (Hutyra); and his daughter Crystal Kelinske. He is survived by: his children, April Smith, Chris Rankin and Michael Kelinske Jr. (Natalie); his brother Monroe Kelinske Jr. (Valerie); and his grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Kaela Smith, Caroline Kelinske and Claire Kelinske. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4819 in West.
