He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Soukup and Louise Soukup (Jaska); his daughter Charlene Soukup; his grandson Joshua Machovsky; and his siblings, Joe Soukup, Frank Soukup, Mary Wachsmann and Annie Skerik.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Cepak Soukup of Elm Mott; his children, Valencia Machovsky (James) of Forney, Bernadene "Bernie" Giglione of McKinney and Ernest J. "Ernie" Soukup (Tammy) of West; his grandchildren, Jason Machovsky (Mary) and Nicole Giglione; his great grandchildren, Justin, Geneva, Johnnie and Giuliana Machovsky; and his stepchildren, Tim Cepak (Torri), Mark Cepak (Sandy), Phyllis Cepak, Pam Khoury, Penny Spellman (John) and Patricia Ford (Brian). He is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
