She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Ondrej and Emilie Ondrej (Urbanovsky); her husband William "Bill" Hykel; her siblings, Joe Ondrey and Georgia Davis; her grandson Brandon Ashley; her great grandchild Chase McCarty; and her daughter-in-law Vickie Hykel (Moore).
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Hykel of Waco, William "Bill" Hykel (Jeanne) of Alvarado, Kenneth Hykel (Cindy) of Lacy Lakeview, Glenn Hykel (Teresa) of West and Vicki McMullen (Mike) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (303 S Harrison St, West, TX 76691).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elm Mott Volunteer Fire Department, St. Vincent de Paul or St. Mary's Cemetery Association.
