He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Jr. Sinks; and his siblings, Earl Sinks, Roy Sinks, Charles "Tiny" Sinks and Reba Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sinks; his mother Dorothy Sinks; his sister Jan Daniels (Bill); and his children, Jennifer McCormick (James), Mistie Teetz (Chad), Kristi McClellan (Kevin) and Tommy Sinks (Tat). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
