She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Tilson, Jr. and Catherine May Slaybaugh Tilson; and her brother Jerry Edwin Tilson. She is survived by: her siblings, Cathie Sue Biggers of Tempe, Arizona, Harlan Stevens of Derby, Kansas and Terry Stevens of Derby, Kansas; her sister-in-law Darlene Tilson of Elkhart, Texas; and her nieces, Miria Ann Dean (Richard Christopher) of Elkhart, Jean Hartman (Todd) of Rolla and Sara Maas (Michael) of Manassas, Virginia.. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
