She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Isaac Reed and Fannie Elizabeth Woodard Reed; her husband Floyd Kenneth Benton; her son Floyd Delmar Benton; her grandson Christopher Hernandez; and her siblings, Louise Sifford, Claude Reed, Clarence Reed and Holeis Reed.
She is survived by: her children, James Benton, Kenneth Benton, Frances May and Terrie Arista. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
