He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lloyd Plummer and Gladys Fay Williams Plummer; his children, Darlene Womack and Ricky Plummer; and his sisters, Nina Hinds, Fayeann Boney and Barbara Alice Whitmire.

He is survived by: his wife Ethelda Plummer of Elkhart; his children, Kathy O'Hara, Sandy Kay Steele, Larry Plummer, Zane Brett Baugh and Lester Ray Plummer; and his siblings, Dora Jean Kern and Floyd Plummer. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
