He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander, Jr. and Cora Mae Woodard Alexander; his brother Philip Wayne Alexander; and his grandchildren, Shay and Hannah.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jean Alexander; his children, Andrea Rachelle Surber (Dirk), James Dalton Alexander (Ross) and Michael Wayne Alexander (Natasha); his brothers, Mike Alexander and Jerry Alexander; and his grandchildren, Payton, Brooks, Noah, Jordan, Avery, Asher, Allisa, Ben and Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
