He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, R. V. Herod and Alma Grant Herod; his daughter-in-law Valerie Herod; his wife Kay Francis Herod; his sons, Michael Herod, Justin Todd Herod (Rainee) and John Herod (Stephanie); his brother Danny Herod (Carol); and his grandchildren, Justin, Stetson, Beka, Tara, Lucy, Luke, Kate, Jack, Nora, Easton, Lacy and Michelle. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
