With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Carpenter of Elkhart, Texas, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil "Buddy" Carpenter and Thelma Stokes Carpenter; his son Travis Carpenter; and his brothers, Lee Carpenter and Donnie Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Carpenter; his daughters, Ashley Guerra (Guillermo) of Mesquite and Courtney Pittenger (Brandon) of Wylie, Texas; his siblings, Jackie Bristow (Billy) and Ricky Carpenter (Pam); his half-brothers, Earnest Carpenter (Debra) and Cecil Carpenter; his sisters-in-law, Denise Saunders and Carolyn Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Gonzalez, Adysen Gonzalez and Ellie Jean Pittenger. He is also survived by husband of 47 years, who loved his wife, his family.
