He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Rea and Vera Rea (Gibson); and his wife JoAnn Rea (Blankenship). He is survived by: his children, Amie Castle (Jim) and Jerod Rea (Paula); his grandsons, Christopher Rodriguez, Caleb Gonzalez, Austin Gonzalez and Justin Rea; his brother Bobby Rea (Sharon); and his stepchildren, Kelly Richmond (Angela) and Tracy Huffman (Craig).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home (207 S Magnolia St, Palestine, TX 75801). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Tunnel to Towers, Anderson County Humane Society or a charity of one's choice.
