Wilson of Elkhart, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Kirksey and Della Kirksey; her husband Wilson; her sister Mary Lou Taylor; her son Johnny Dale Almand; and her grandsons, Terry Huffines and Joshua Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Wilson (Karen), Kay Henderson, Roy Almand and Sammy Almand (Karen); her granddaughters, Christi Hamby and Samantha Pyle (Ernest); and her caregivers, Lisa Johnson, Geraldine Martin, Cathey McKinney, Wendy Shipper and Judy Hamby. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Methodist Church (510 N St, TX-19, Elkhart, TX 75839). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
