She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Lopez-Roeper (Fred), Carolyn Ray (Del) and Patricia Markert (Jody); her sisters, Virginia Cardenas, Connie Samudio and Delores Garcia; her sister-in-law Lala Samaripa; her grandchildren, Eric Ray, John Thomas Lopez-Roeper, Mykaela Lopez-Roeper, Shelby Vybiral (DJ) and Seleste Markert; her great grandchildren, Elaria Ray, Elijah Ray, Blakley Vybiral and Hartley Vybiral; her extended family, Nikki Elders, Kendell Reyes and Austin Patterson; and her siblings, Matildy Samaripa, Paul Samaripa, Jessie Samaripa, Joe Samaripa and Susie Briseno.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home (604 State Hwy 95, Elgin, TX 78621). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Providence - Jones Family Family Funeral Home (604 State Hwy 95, Elgin, TX 78621). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (10104 Hill Ln, Manor, TX 78653). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Manor Cemetery (582 N Lockhart St, Manor, TX 78653).
Mary S Lopez passed on to her forever home peacefully on February 12, 2025, at the age of 93 after a long journey with Alzheimer's disease.
