She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mogonye and Malinda Mogonye; her brother David Mogonye; her siblings-in-law, Jan Mogonye, Dorothy "Dottie" Peterson Nitkin, Donald Peterson, Gary Peterson and Glen Matetzschk; and her nephew Scott Mogonye.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Peterson of Peter's Lutheran Church; her children, Terry Peterson (JoAnn), Paula Urbanovsky and Dawn Treichel (DJ); her grandchildren, Doug Spaw (Vanessa), Stephen Peterson, Meghan Caskey (Corey), Malorie Pace (Heath), Tyler Laake, Britten Tedford (Phillip) and Hunter Tedford (Phoenix); her great grandchildren, Callaway Spaw, Layla Spaw, Weston Pace, Landon Pace, Madison Sims (Carter), Makenzie Pace (Colton), Megan Sims (Clayton), Cade Caskey and Miles Caskey; her great great grandchildren, Grayson and Addison Sims; and her sisters-in-law, Shirlene Matetzschk and Sandra Peterson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elgin Funeral Home (712 N Avenue C, Elgin, TX 78621). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lund Cemetery.
