She was predeceased by: her grandmother Janelle Nelson Mogonye; her parents, Elmer Louis Nelson and Erna Elise Schroeder; her brother Elmer "Buddy" Nelson Jr.; her husband Emil Raymond Mogonye; her son Mac Morgan Mogonye; and her son-in-law Michael Dennis Lloyd.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Mogonye (Suzanne) of Elgin and Tracy Mogonye (Joyce) of Elgin; her grandchildren, Judy Lloyd of Stephenville, Texas, Jason Mogonye M. D., Whitney Mogonye, Kurt Mogonye, Lindsey Hansen (Jonathan), Courtney McWhorter J. D. (Jedd), Jon-Erik Mogonye Ph, Jake Mogonye (Jennifer) and Justin Mogonye; her stepgrandsons, Scott Lloyd (Tanya), Rob Lloyd (Sally), David Lloyd (Erin), Brian Case (Tammie), Kevin Knight (DeDe) and Michael Knight (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Hayes, Brooks Hansen, Kennedy, Ryan Mogonye, Callum, Charlotte McWhorter and Hagen Mogonye; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Colby Lloyd, Rachel Young, Stephen Lloyd (Madeline), Jenna Lloyd, Matthew Lloyd, Rebekah, Aiden Lloyd, Brian Jr., Ben Case, Garrett, Jessica Knight, Madison, Nikki and Memphis Knight. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Providence-Jones Funeral Home (604 State Hwy 95, Elgin, TX 78621). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Peters Lutheran Church (401 E 8th St, Elgin, TX 78621). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Elgin Cemetery.
