He was predeceased by: his father Alfredo Prieto; and his sisters, Yolanda Troncoso and Diana Prieto. He is survived by: his wife Christina Paiz Prieto; his daughter Marissa Ann Prieto (Cesar); his mother Avelina Rodriguez Prieto; and his siblings, Martha Cortes (Ruben), Johnny Prieto, Tony, Jerry Prieto, Rosa Linda and Thomasita Prieto.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home (604 State Hwy 95, Elgin, TX 78621). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elgin Latin Cemetery (305 Ochoa St, Elgin, TX 78621).
