He is survived by: his parents, Jimmie Tommie James and Edith Faught James; his wife Clara James; his children, Jennifer Galindo and Chris Penney; his grandchildren, Sierra Samaniego, Ivan Galindo and Sephian Penney; his siblings, Judy Jones (Jerry), Jimmie "Dod" James (Roberta) and Linda Wallace (Libb); and his uncle John Faught.
