She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive father William Asbury Newton (Lois Mitchell Newton); her husband H. G. "Buddy" White; her grandparents, C. T. and Mamie Mitchell; her parents, William Asbury Newton and Lois Mitchell Newton Thompson; her stepfather Rex Monroe Thompson; her cousin Mary Barton Robinson; her daughters, Mary Kay White and Missy White Sims (Elijah Wayne Sims); and her granddaughters, Lauren Eliza Sims and Shelby Katherine Sims.
