He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jake Gilstrap and Rosalie Gilstrap; his wife Carolyn Schawartz; his daughter Christy Crisp (Robbie) of Richland Springs; his grandson Seth Crisp (Kendall) of Tennyson; his great grandchild Hattie Crisp; his sister Kathey Bates; and his son Bodie Gilstrap (Carolyn Gilstrap). He was also cherished by numerous nephews and cousins.
