She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Acosta and Candelaria Acosta; and her siblings, Maria Elena Ruiz, Ramona Diaz, Luis Acosta Jr. and Juan Acosta.

She is survived by: her husband Fernando; her sons, Louis Arthur (Douglas) of New York City and George of El Paso; her grandson Briar Anthony Mendez of El Paso; and her siblings, Carmen Haney of El Paso and Frank Acosta (Irene) of Dallas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
