She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Gardea and Maria Luisa Gardea; and her granddaughter Crystal. She is survived by: her children, Graciana Acuna-Gonzalez, Estela Medina, Alfonso Acuna Jr. and Mario Acuna.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - East (750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Ignatius Catholic Church (408 Park St, El Paso, TX 79901).
