He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Anchondo and Raul Anchondo; his wife Rosa Elva G. Anchondo; and his son Salvador Anchondo Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Lourdes Tapia (Frank Tapia); his grandchildren, Francisco A. Tapia (Ruth Tapia) and Victoria Picciano (Michael Picciano); his daughter-in-law Brenda Trinidad; and his siblings, Alicia Cano (Arturo Cano), Victor Anchondo (Bertha Mireles) and Martha H. Torres (Michael Torres).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Central (3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 8:45 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2709 Alabama St, El Paso, TX 79930). A procession was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
