He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Canchola and Helen Canchola (Jaime). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Marcos); his daughters-in-law, Theresa and Cindy; his granddaughters, Grace, Miranda and Alyssa; and his godson Chacho Pichardo. He is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in-law, as well as cousins and many friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of Peace. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Bliss National (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
