As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roberto may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Armendariz Godoy and Maria De Jesus Romero; and his granddaughter Jacqueline Camille Moreno. He is survived by: his wife Maria Angela Armendariz; his children, Maribel Benanti (Joseph), Roberto Armendariz Jr. (Marisela), Ruben Armendariz (Pilar) and Daniel Armendariz (Nancy); and his siblings, Ruben Armendariz and Maria Concepcion Jimenez. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, as well as 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - West (480 Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79912). A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church (5750 Doniphan Dr, El Paso, TX 79912). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery (4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008).
