He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Rayford of Yampert and Phyllis Carlene Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Juana Vargas of Yampert; his sons, Cesar, Alfonso and Elio Bernal; his siblings, Donn, Dwight of Yampert and Debbie Aljets; his grandchildren, Alfonso Jr., Britney, Esteban, Damaris, Erick, Juan Carlos and Marco Antonio; and his great grandchildren, Sara Nova, Elijah and Erick Bernal.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Paz Funeral Home (3331 Alameda Ave, El Paso, TX 79905). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery East (12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938).
