He is survived by: his sister Grace Herrera; his nieces and nephews, Ricardo Hermosel Herrera Jr. (Jennifer Herrera), Thessalanika Diaz and Carolina Herrera; and his grandsons, James and Marcus Cantu. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - West (480 Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79912). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
