He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Luz and Engracia Castanon Guerrero; and his sisters, Julia Geiger, Petra Molina and Concepcion Palacios.
He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe P. Guerrero; his children, Dr. Richard Guerrero (Irma), Yvette Armendariz and Yvonne Vallejo (Dan); his siblings, Juan Guerrero, Isabel Waller, Catalina Resendez and Margarita Mitchell; his grandchildren, Joey, Joshua, Jonathan, Aaron (Meagan), Ruby, Jackie, Edward, Celeste, Briana and Meagan Nikos (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Santi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cristo Rey Catholi Church (8011 Williamette Ave, El Paso, TX 79907). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
