He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Ernesto, Jessica, Oscar and Daisy; and his siblings, David, Carlos, Javier, Salvador, Teresa and Guadalupe. He is also survived by family members and friends.

A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church (503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery East (12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938).
