He was predeceased by: his mother Guadalupe Portillo (Olivas). He is survived by: his father Mike Sr. Portillo; his wife Grace Portillo (Chacon); his daughter Michelle Marie Hernandez (Ruben); his grandchildren, Isabella Marie Hernandez and Ruben Nathaniel Hernandez; and his siblings, Esther Portillo, Ernie Portillo (Cecilia), Linda Venegas (Enrique), Edna Patsy Anaya (Fred) and Larry Portillo. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Funeral Home - El Paso (1755 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, TX 79925).
