It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilde Alicia Escandón Garcia (El Paso, Texas), who passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Rodolfo "Rofy" Garcia; her children, Terri Garcia, Elizabeth Kennedy, Sandra Garcia, Margaret Garcia, Becky Ferguson (Jon), Rudy Garcia Jr. (Carol Sanders), Ben Garcia (Donna), Mike Garcia and Matthew Garcia (Claudia); and her siblings, Anna Rodriguez, Mary Rosales, Salvador, Charlie, Gregorio and Patricio Escandon.
