He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his children, Denise Winfield (David), Catherine Martinez, Anthony Martinez, RoseAnn Martinez, Patricia Martinez and Laura Ogletree (Daryl); his siblings, Tony Martinez and Cari Hemperley; his grandchildren, Madeline Martinez (Jonah), Marianne Martinez, Ashley Martinez, Aubrey Martinez, Karla Duran (John), Avery Jordan Martinez, Isabella Martinez, Ryan Norris, Samuel Norris, Joshua Ogletree and Zach Stauffer; and his great grandchildren, Aurora Norris, Zoe Norris, Gwen Norris and Mariano Duran. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Patrick Cathedral (1118 N Mesa St, El Paso, TX 79902). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
