She was predeceased by: her husband Epigmenio Caraveo; her son Leo Caraveo (Liz); her parents, Pedro Ramirez and Blasa Ramirez; and her siblings, Ricardo Ramirez, Cleotilde Barrandey, Ruben Ramirez, Porfirio Ramirez and Linda Bustillos.
She is survived by: her children, Isabel "Liz" Garcia (Lawrence), Cynthia Madrid (Jimmy) and Socorro Chambers; her grandchildren, Vanessa Vasquez (Bobby), Lisa Martin (Marc), Darlina Bolding (Jason), Stephanie Tinsley (Elliot), Mathew Madrid, Ruben Chambers (Haydee), Ciana Chambers, Erika Madrid, Steven Madrid and Sara Caraveo; and her brothers, Hector and Samuel Ramirez. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - East (750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church (1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
