It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josefina Hernandez (El Paso, Texas), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Acosta and Guadalupe Cadena; and her husband Hector Hernandez. She is survived by: her daughter Gabriela Prieto. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - East (750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home - East (750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - East (750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen East Cemetery (12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938).
