We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 73, Joan Diaz Jernigan (El Paso, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jose Diaz. She is survived by: her significant other Richard; her mother Matilda Diaz; her siblings, Johnny and Linda Diaz; her daughters, Denise, Michelle and Krisiann; and her grandchildren, Brandi, Avina of Samuel, J. D. and Ariel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
