He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Soto. He is survived by: his wife Lilia Soto; and his children, Gonzalo Soto, Jr., Norma Apodaca and Sylvia Cromwell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Central (3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
