It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria M. Holguin (El Paso, Texas), born in Colorado City, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Ignacio Holguin; her parents, Carlos Mendoza and Celia Vidal Mendoza; and her siblings, Ernesto, Carolina, Lilia and Carlos.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Uyarra (Tony), Bertha Schmidt (Gary), Victor Holguin (Heide) and Celia Holguin; her grandchildren, Justin, Erick (Gabby), Margo, Daniel, Fred and Alex; her great grandchildren, Camila, Natalia and Evelyn; and her sisters, Maria Elena and Leticia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM and at 1:30 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (9025 Diana Dr, El Paso, TX 79904, USA).
